One of the things I love about this time of year is that it’s the start of a new school year as well as the beginning of the Jewish calendar year and the high holy days. It’s the perfect time to reflect on what matters in life like our families and how we honor God as Lord of our life.
It’s so easy to get busy and overwhelmed with life. That’s why we must set aside time to rest, to connect with our family, and remember God’s goodness. In our upcoming Yom Kippur special this month, we are offering an exclusive teaching from our dear friend Paul Wilbur on the blessing of Shabbat. Tune in to discover how this ancient Biblical practice can strengthen your family and build deep faith as you make it part of your week.
I also invite you to join me in praying for all the teachers and kids as they start their new school year. It’s vital that we pray protection over them, and that God would give them wisdom. The enemy is after this generation, and we must stand in the gap for them!
