LETTERS FROM JONI LAMB – FEBRUARY 2024
Can you believe we are already one month in to 2024? We’ve already had new launches, exciting adventures, and more. But before we get to that, one of my favorite things about the month of February is the celebration of all the amazing contributions made by African Americans throughout our history here in the United States.
So, in honor of Black History Month, I wanted to highlight my dear friend and new Daystar programmer, Dr. Kynan Bridges. He is a dynamic minister of the Gospel who has done such a tremendous job at Grace & Peace Global Fellowship in Tampa, Florida. As a guest on Joni Table Talk, he has impacted so many of you with his insight and teaching, and we are so excited to now have him as part of our line-up with his program Your Miraculous Life with Dr. Kynan Bridges.
I also want to take a moment to remember my beloved friend and Daystar Singer, Benita Arterberry. As many of you know, she went home to be with the Lord recently. She was such a tremendous blessing in my life, and we will miss her so much. But despite it being a hard loss for us, we know that she is in the presence of God worshipping the One she loves most, Jesus.
This year has also seen its share of adventure and blessings, and I want to highlight some of those for you. We’ve just recently returned from a trip to Australia to be part of the 2024 Planetshakers Conference. It was a powerful time soaking in the presence of the Lord, and it’s always fun to share that with our favorite Aussie, my son-in-love Joshua Brown, and my daughter Rachel Lamb Brown.
As I mentioned earlier, Daystar has two new launches that I want to share with you. In Australia, we recently launched on Channels 102 and 670 on VAST, a free-to-air satellite television platform. This is in addition to our already great coverage there via Foxtel and the IS-19 Satellite services!
God is doing big things around the globe, and you are helping change lives! We are continuing to pray for and support Israel in the ongoing Gaza War. Currently, Daystar is helping rebuild the various Kibbutz directly affected by the attacks back in October, helping restore communities so those displaced can return home.
And it’s all thanks to the love and support of partners just like you. Thank you for loving Israel and loving the Gospel. We pray the Lord continues to pour out His blessing over you in 2024.
