The Path of Surrender
Surrender simply means to give up control. For many people, the thought of giving up control is a scary one. Who doesn’t like to be in control, make their own decision, and choose what the future holds?
That all sounds good, but I’d like to ask you a question before you run off deciding what you want to do with your life: do you believe there is a God?
I want to challenge you with the thought that God is concerned about you and your life.
There are always those naysayers who will tell you, “God doesn’t care about me, nor is He concerned about my life.” But for a moment, stop trying to figure out God.
This is a moment you should also stop to consider the word surrender and at the same time catch a glimpse of the One who desires to be an intimate part of your life. It leads you to the place where you’ll find the peace you’ve wanted. You have nothing to lose but fear, disappointment, and a lack of purpose, so take a journey in exploring this question:
Are you ready to live with more peace, power and purpose?
