A Legacy of Faith
As we honor fathers this month I can’t help but think of my own, who was peacefully promoted to Heaven earlier this year. Bill Trammell was such an incredible man of God, leading our family with integrity and creating a lasting legacy of blessing through one simple act of surrender.
While still a teenager he strayed from the path of faith first forged by my grandfather, E.C. Trammell, but my dad ultimately laid down his life in exchange for the riches of God’s grace one Sunday morning. That choice has forever impacted generations, being multiplied many times over as our family has grown over the years.
The gift of this amazing legacy is something I’m excited to celebrate! So I hope you’ll tune in for a special Joni Table Talk June 22 and join me in honoring my father—and every man who chooses the path of surrender. Through their selfless sacrifice, a beautiful tapestry of faith is woven together by God’s love and endures through His blessings!
