Joni 2016 Freda Lindsay Award Recipient
In front of the main chapel at Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas, Joni Lamb was recently honored as the 2016 recipient of the Freda Lindsay award. On April 18th, the prestigious ministry school announced their selection of the Daystar matriarch as a Christian leader who exemplifies the love, passion and remarkable character of the late Freda Lindsay, co-founder of CFNI.
“It was such a tremendous honor to chosen for this award,” Joni said. “I had the great privilege of knowing Freda for many years, and to be compared to such a monumental woman and minister is truly humbling.”
Joni is the fourth recipient of this prestigious award. Past honorees have included Marilyn Hickey, Dr. Sandra Kennedy and Gloria Copeland.
After receiving the award, Joni offered a few inspirational words to the audience, which included the CFNI student body, the Lamb Family, the Lindsay Family, faculty and selection committee.
