Fireworks, Faith, & Moving Forward
For those in America, the fourth of July is the day when we celebrate the birth of our nation with big, bold fireworks. This year that holiday holds even more significance for our family since our sweet son-in-love, Joshua Brown, recently became a United States citizen!
After a long ten-year wait, Josh was sworn in with over 100 others who were eagerly anticipating their moment to officially declare that the dream of citizenship was finally realized. Throughout this lengthy process, I know Josh wavered and wondered if the journey was even worth it. But instead of quitting he held onto hope, convinced of God’s promise in Galatians 6:9, which says, “At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”
So what God-given goal are you aiming for? What dream in your heart seems just out of reach? I want to encourage you to keep moving forward in faith. Just like Josh I believe you’ll reap a harvest of blessing – worthy of heaven’s fireworks – if you don’t give up!
