Letter from Joni Lamb: February 2017

An African Adventure
Recently, Marcus and my youngest, Rebecca, kicked off the New Year with a ministry trip to Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country. There they ministered for two days at Daystar Christian Center in Lagos, pastored by Sam and Nike Adeyemi, and Commonwealth of Zion Assembly in Abuja, pastored by Biodun and Modele Fatoyinbo.

Through the ministry of both these churches, God is moving in an amazing way and using these pastors to influence this powerful nation. Growing exponentially, both these ministries are thriving immensely, and inspiring passion in their congregation for sharing the Gospel.

My daughter said, “I love Nigeria and the people, and I felt so welcomed, accepted and honored. Being in those services was just refreshing to my spirit. And I had a really good time with dad and fellowshipping with the pastors. It was good for my soul.”

Marcus delivered two powerful messages about not giving up on your dream and this year being the year for breakout and breakthrough, and both days of ministry were filled with powerful revelation and exuberant praise.

We love Africa so much. Continue to pray that God will pour out his spirit and anointing on the people of Nigeria this year and spark more revival across the continent of Africa.
